Voon Help: What do these icons mean?
December 15th, 2008
I see some pictures here, but I don’t know what they’re for!
Ahh, yes! It might be helpful to know what it’s all about! Here is a quick overview of the images you’ll find:
– This is the “Bump” icon. At this time it appears the same for everyone, regardless of how many bumps a user has.
– This is the “calendar” icon which will appear next to any Events you place on your calendar.
– A gold star means it’s a Featured Event!
– A password-protected Room will have this icon next to it, indicating you will need the password to enter.
– This indicates your microphone is active. Click the icon once to mute it.
– This indicates that your microphone has been muted. Click the icon once to unmute it.
– This recognizes users as Moderators. It will appear next to the user who is a moderator in a Room, and next to Rooms and Events in your application when you are the moderator of that Room/Event.
– When you mute both audio and text for another user, this icon will appear next to their name.
– This indicates that a Moderator has muted this user’s ability to type and talk in the Room.
– This icon indicates that you have muted audio for the user who’s name it appears by.
– A user with this icon next to his name has had his ability to talk muted by a Moderator.
– This indicates you have muted that user’s text.
– This user’s text has been muted for everyone by a Moderator.
– Click this icon to access information about Voon as well as to logout and/or exit the program.
– Push this button to begin recording in audio sessions, either a room or person-to-person.
– Push this button to stop recording.
– When you have Push-to-Talk enabled, click this icon to talk.
– This appears next to the names of those who are typing a message into the Room or the IM.
– This indicates a user is online.
