Voon

What is Voon?

Voon is for gamers to take part in real-time discussions, interviews, arguments and news releases. Voon users speak or type their thoughts into discussion groups or gatherings. We want it to be completely full of events that people will want to turn on, tune in and take part. Is Voon the start of a new "Interactive Broadcast" medium? We think it could be. By "Interactive Broadcast we mean that it's got the good aspects of broadcast content - one event accessible by lots of people. But "Interactive" means that you, us and anyone else can talk and text back. So Voon is not a one way blast of content from the powers that be. Instead it's a multi-directional web of communication. Baby!

While the content and the events will be created by all Voon users, the underlying application is created and maintained by Vivox. Since we come out of the MMO and Virtual World… world, we’re starting Voon by working with our friends. Watch this space for upcoming announcements about who is launching Voon.
